Location

Menjangan Dynasty glamping resort and dive centre in Bali rests upon 16 hectares of land near the village of Pajakaran in Northwest Bali, overlooking the serene Banyuwedang Bay.

The Resort is bordered by the spectacular West Bali National Park, which includes the tiny, uninhabited Menjangan (Deer) Island. Deer can sometimes be seen swimming from the island to the mainland, and have even been known to swim across Banyuwedang Bay to the Resort.

This remote and beautiful corner of Bali is literally as far as you can travel from the island’s densely-touristed areas without crossing the sea, but those who are bold enough to venture away from the crowded south will discover a different world. Swimming is safer here, while the snorkelling and dive sites around Menjangan Island rate among Bali’s best. The incredibly-varied countryside with its wooded mountain slopes, savannah grasslands, rainforest, monsoon forest and mangrove-wrapped coastal flats, offers wonderful opportunities for observing wildlife, trekking, horse-riding, bird-watching, kayaking and cycling, while the magnificent sunsets, local traditions, artistic culture, and slower pace of life, makes this area diverse, interesting and delightful.

North Bali is famous for its artistic heritage. The style of the gold and silver work, together with the weaving, pottery and instrument-making is very distinctive and unique. The resort is located 150km (about four hours’ drive) from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
